Traditional Jaden Dressing
1/2 cup oil (peanut, olive, or vegetable, etc.)
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1 tsp. sesame oil (opt.)
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
Place dressing ingredients in blender container; cover and blend until
smooth. (Or place in cruet or small jar, cover and shake until blended).
To make a delicious Chinese Salad, try adding the following optional
ingredients: diced cooked chicken or meat, shredded cabbage, fried Chinese
noodles, chopped nuts or madarin oranges. Add Jaden’s salad dressing,
toss & serve.

Light Jaden Dressing
This deliciously light Chinese salad dressing begins with a perfect blend of all–natural ingredients complemented by your choice of oil. Toss it with fresh ingredients like those listed in the salad recipe below.
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp. oil (peanut, olive, vegetable, etc)
1 tsp. hot sesame oil (optional)
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
Place dressing ingredients in blender container; cover and blend until smooth. (Or place in cruet or small jar, cover and shake until blended). Refrigerate any unused portion and use within 2 weeks.
Makes about 1 cup or 8 servings.

Fat-Free Jaden Dressing
Do fat-free dressings leave your taste buds flat? Not this one! It’s hard to believe this dressing is low in fat, because it’s so big on flavors.
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/3 cup water
1 tsp. lime juice
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
Place dressing ingredients in blender container; cover and blend until smooth. (Or place in cruet or small jar, cover and shake until blended). Refrigerate any unused portion and use within 2 weeks.
Makes about 1 cup or 8 servings.

Jaden Mediterranean Dressing
Quick-cooking couscous and colorful garnishes such as dried cranberries and candied pecans make this a deliciously satisfying salad.
Mediterranean Dressing:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil pressed with lemons
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
Salad:
4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 cups chopped butter lettuce
1/2 cup cooked couscous
1/2 cup sweet grape tomatoes
1/4 cup dried cranberries
Optional extras:
Candied pecans
Pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Place dressing ingredients in blender container; cover and blend until smooth. (Or place in cruet or small jar, cover and shake until blended). Place lettuces, couscous, tomatoes and cranberries in a medium salad bowl. Pour dressing over salad and toss well. Sprinkle with candied pecans or pepitas, if you like.
Makes 6 servings.
Jaden Marinade
Bring the exotic flavors of the Orient to your meal with Jaden Marinade. You may thicken the marinade by simmering it, then drizzle over vegetables or enjoy it as a dipping sauce for shrimp or sushi.
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
1 lb. meat, fish, poultry or vegetables (your choice)
Whisk together soy sauce, water, olive oil, garlic and contents of dressing packet. Add meat, fish, poultry or vegetables and let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Cook to desired doneness. To use the marinade as a sauce, bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
Mongolian Marinade
1 package Jaden Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
1 scallion, chopped
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 ½ Tbsp. soy Sauce
1 ½ Tbsp. citrus Champagne vinegar
1 ½ Tbsp. rice vinegar
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. Tabasco® Sauce
1 ½ tsp. black bean chile sauce
1 lb. meat, fish, poultry or vegetables (your choice)
Whisk together all ingredients. Add meat, fish, poultry or vegetables and let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Cook to desired doneness. To use the marinade as a sauce, bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.

Jaden Shrimp Salad
The perfect combination of Jaden spices makes it simple to prepare this refreshing shrimp salad. Enjoy it as a side dish, or add a French baguette for a wonderfully light lunch.
1 cup cooked shrimp
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup broccoli cole slaw
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup peeled and chopped cucumber
2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp. lime juice
1/4 cup prepared Jaden Dressing
Place shrimp, celery, broccoli cole slaw, onion, cucumber, cilantro and lime juice in a medium salad bowl. Pour dressing over salad and toss well.
Makes 4 side-dish servings.
Jaden Crispy Salad by Carol
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced Granny Smith apple
1 cup broccoli slaw
1 cup chopped butter lettuce
1 cup cole slaw mix (shredded green cabbage, red cabbage and carrots)
¼ cup chopped candied (or regular) pecans
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup prepared Jaden Dressing
¼ cup Ranch Dressing
In large salad bowl, mix all vegetables. Toss with dressings and serve immediately.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
Jaden Chicken Sandwich Wraps
For the bread you can use Flour Tortillas, Cracker Bread, Flat Bread, Split Pita Bread or Rice Paper Wraps.
2 cups cubed cooked chicken (try rotisserie chicken from the deli)
1 cup broccoli slaw
3/4 cup prepared Jaden Dressing
¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
¼ cup cream cheese spread
4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
4 romaine lettuce leaves
In medium bowl combine chicken, broccoli slaw, ½ cup of the dressing, green onions and cilantro. Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese onto each tortilla. Top with chicken mixture, one lettuce leaf and 1 Tbsp of Jaden Dressing. Fold in ends of tortilla and roll up. Serve immediately or wrap in wax paper and chill.

Rice & Soups
Jaden Rice
This little packet really does it all! Simply add it to the saucepan as you prepare rice to create a yummy side dish variation.
2 cups water
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
1 cup long grain white basmati rice
In a medium saucepan, bring water, olive oil and contents of dressing packet to a boil. Stir in rice and cook according to package directions. Let stand for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
Jaden Soup
In the mood for an Asian noodle bowl? Try this easy recipe, using fresh vegetables and thin-cut noodles. In just over 30 minutes you’ll have a comforting bowl of Jaden soup.
4 cups chicken broth
3 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
1 pound diced raw chicken
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup broccoli cole slaw
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 (9-oz.) package fresh thin-cut Chinese noodles (can substitute fresh spaghetti or linguine or
cooked spaghetti or linguine)
Chow mein noodles or chopped dry-roasted peanuts (optional)
In a large saucepot, bring broth, water, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic and contents of dressing packet to a boil. Stir in chicken and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in celery and cook an additional 10 minutes. Stir in broccoli cole slaw, cabbage, onion and Chinese noodles and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Serve topped with chow mein noodles or peanuts, if you like.
Makes 6 – 8 servings.
Jaden Chicken Stir Fry
The secret to a great stir fry is cooking quickly at high heat.
Sauce
3 Tbsp. chicken broth
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. peanut oil
2 Tbsp black bean garlic sauce
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. rice vinegar
1 tsp. sesame oil
Stir Fry
1 tbsp. peanut oil
1 pound raw chicken breast, diced
2 ½ cups broccoli flowerettes
1 cup sliced celery
1 orange bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 yellow onion, sliced into strips
1 cup chopped baby bok choy
Hot, cooked rice
Chopped peanuts or cashews (optional)
Make sauce by blending all ingredients together in blender or mini-food processor; set aside.
Add peanut oil to hot wok or 12-inch skillet. Add chicken and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add sauce and cook on high heat for 1 ½ minutes. Add broccoli, celery, bell pepper and onion; cook for 3 minutes. Add bok choy; cook for 2 minutes. Serve immediately over hot rice, garnished with peanuts, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.

Dragon Dip
This dairy-fresh dip combines several mouthwatering flavors as well as the subtle, salty crunchiness of cashews. Cut calories and fat by substituting low-fat sour cream and cream cheese.
1/4 cup peeled and chopped cucumber
1 (8-oz.) container sour cream
1 (8-oz.) container cream cheese spread
1 packet Jaden Chinese Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped cashews
1 tsp. sesame chili oil
Blot cucumber with paper towel to absorb excess moisture. Stir together all ingredients and chill about 2 hours. Serve with vegetables, fried won tons or your favorite crackers. Or use to top baked potatoes or hot wings.
Makes about 3 cups.
